A: absolutely. we’ve done drawings of locations like union station or the golden gate bridge for weddings, as well as whimsical illustrations of animals and bugs for children’s parties. just ask, and chances are, we’ll be able to custom-create just what you’re looking for. Q: can you do calligraphy or send out invitations for me? A: right now we aren’t equipped to handle those things, but keep checking back with us for new additions and announcements. Q: can you help me brainstorm a theme for an event or an invitation/announcement? A: without a doubt, one of our favorite things to do. please email us some of your thoughts and event details. we'll think hard and then call you to chat about what we can do to create something exceptional and especially for you. Q: does cake accept rush orders? A: yes. even if it’s a super rush, email us or call us and we’ll try as hard as we can to get it done for you. we know your event is important to you and we’ll do whatever we can do help give it that extra special touch, despite a quick turnaround. Q: how do you recommend we stuff the envelopes you use? A: great question. we’re pretty particular about this, since we view the envelope as an integral part of the presentation. we have used translucent envelopes from the start, because we love the shimmery way it reveals a glimpse of the art, even before it’s opened. we’ve even created our designs in order to best take advantage of this. that said, please place your cards into the envelopes with the front of the card facing “out”. meaning, whatever is on the front of the card, when the envelope is stuffed, should show through the envelope on the stamped side. from the back, or the sealed side, all you should see is a hint of our web address, which is printed on the back of every card. Q: how will my gift be wrapped and sent? A: every order is neatly wrapped in ribbon and packaged with colored tissue, even if it’s just coming directly to you. if it’s going to someone else and you specify the wording, we’ll include a gift card from you too. Q: what if i live out of your area? can i still hire you to help with a party? A: at this time, we are best equipped to handle local events, because most of our favorite and trusted vendors are based where we are – in southern california. however, while we're gathering information about your event in order to design the invitations, we'll get a pretty good idea of what your goals for the party are. just ask, and we'll be happy to make a few style recommendations along the way to help make your dream a reality.
