		home: order policies ordering information all customized orders are final sale. if your order doesn’t meet your expectations, or you are unsatisfied in any way, please call us so we can discuss it. if there is a discrepancy with the printed information, even after your final approval, and it is mutually agreed that it is cake’s error, we will replace your order as soon as possible at no charge to you. if you are a store with a resale license number or a rep interested in carrying the cake lines, please email or call us and we’d be happy to discuss it with you. if you’d rather not shop online via our secure server, you may email your order to us, then send a money order or cashier’s check. please be sure to include your contact information on your order. once your order is reviewed, we will send you our mailing address, and contact you again once your check has arrived. your order will begin only after your check is deposited and clears, so allow for extra turnaround time if this is your order preference. disclaimer/policies our policy at cake is to always produce the highest quality paper goods and parties we possibly can. we respect the differences that exist in our style of paper goods, and hope to find you happily embracing it along with us. the unique nature is what we feel makes them especially treasured as individual little pieces of art. because so much of our work is finished by hand, there are slight differences to not only be aware of, but celebrate. we have tried to represent everything in its truest color online. any variations in color is not intended, but please be open to the colors in your order looking slightly different when you receive it, than it does on your computer screen. the actual colors you will see on your monitor are beyond our control and therefore, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be accurate. we will however, always control to the best of our ability, the consistent high quality of our goods. be assured that if it isn’t good enough to ship to our own friends and family, we wouldn’t consider it good enough to send to you and yours. our card stock is dyed in small batches, and every so often, there will be a very slight color shift. most cards are hand-trimmed to create a deckled edge, so each hand-trimmed card will vary slightly in size (everything will always fit appropriately in it’s assigned envelope). anything cut with a straight edge is generally cut in large batches, which eliminates that variance. every card is folded by hand and hand-glittered, so placement will vary slightly on each one. cake reserves the right to incorporate slight design variations in a layout, depending on the length of name, or number of names, that need to be incorporated. if it’s significant enough where we think you should give your approval before we print, we’ll email you a proof. any errors on our site are wholly unintentional and we apologize if incorrect information in any way affects your individual order. we reserve the right to amend errors or to update product information at any time without prior notice. please understand that some of our card stocks may be available in limited quantities (especially holiday stocks), and, because of their limited availability, their stock will not and cannot be refreshed. that means once an item is gone, it may be gone for good and not appear on the site again. when a certain paper stock or design featured on cakeparties.com is no longer in stock, we make every attempt to remove that item from the site in a timely manner. should you have any questions concerning the availability of a particular item, please contact us.
